CrewHero Operational Text Messaging

How Consent Works

Your manager adds you to CrewHero after obtaining your permission to receive work-related text messages. When adding your phone number, they must confirm they have your explicit consent.

If you did not consent to receive these messages, please contact your manager or opt out immediately by replying STOP.

What Messages You'll Receive

Message Types:

  • Shift schedules and time changes
  • Work assignment notifications
  • Maintenance ticket updates
  • Time clock reminders
  • Safety alerts and weather notices
  • Important company announcements

Example Messages:

"Your shift tomorrow: 7:00 AM at 123 Oak Street"

"New maintenance ticket assigned: Irrigation repair at Riverside Park"

"Reminder: Clock in for your 9:00 AM shift"

"Schedule change: Tomorrow's shift moved to 10:00 AM"

"Safety alert: High wind advisory - secure all equipment"

Frequency: 0-10 messages per week
Operational messages only

How to Opt Out

You can stop receiving text messages at any time:

  • Reply STOP to any CrewHero message
  • Update your preferences in the CrewHero app

Opting out will not affect your employment or access to CrewHero. You may miss important work notifications if you opt out.

Privacy & Data Protection

We only use your phone number for work-related communications. We never sell or share your number with third parties for marketing. Your number is only shared with Twilio, our SMS service provider, to deliver messages.

Message Costs

CrewHero does not charge for SMS services. Standard message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
